They may not have the big corporate backers (other than Nike) that seem to foot a lot of the NFL bills but the line of cars driving from Portland to Eugene on Duck game day assures me that Portland isn't above football.
Now the city council won't be excited about funding plans and I can certainly see green special interest groups thumbing their noses at the environmental impact of an NFL game day.Â
