Since that time, end-year Junior grades and standardized test scores have been received. Those who do not have a chance will move on. Some who still have a chance may choose not to do the additional work necessary to solidify their admissions probability. Our recruiting board experiences a decent amount of "whale" attrition at this time every year because of these realities. Of course, it can also be because they favor somewhere else where they feel more comfortable.
