Don't underestimate ones ability to take a satirical show as "mean spiritied" when ones team is down 3 TDs at half. Context is everything.

For last year's Rose Bowl, that particular context was irrelevant. At least a fraction of our corn-fed friends were booing the LSJUMB in the parade and in pregame. There was at least a segment of the Iowa fan base who showed up determined to be offended by that bunch of hippy, drugged-out, elitist, California kids in the unconventional band.

... and they were down five touchdowns at half.
