Anyone else thinking that we're going to look at last week as the game Irwin finally started dominating? He's previously demonstrated the qualities everyone praises, but at UCLA he showed them in spades and was crucial for the win. I hope he's getting 5+ catches a game from here on out.

It was certainly Irwin's first game with a significant number of catches.

Actually getting 5+ catches in each game is quite a lot, especially in the Stanford offense. Since 2008 we've only had one guy hit that average over an entire season - that was Montgomery in 2014 (61 catches in 11 games played). Ertz just about did it in 2012 (69 catches in 14 games). I don't think we'll see that, but I do think he should get several and hope we see a roughly equal number of catches from McCaffrey, Rector, and Irwin.
