Anyone want to provide an update on the outlook for the 2017 class? 

I feel a lot less informed about where things are at and who the potential candidates might be than I was last year at this time.  Sure, the class looks like it will be on the small side, and there have been a few blurbs about specific recruits, but it just doesn't seem there has been as much big picture discussion about the class as usual.

Has recruiting momentum slowed down?  Are the top targets still in play?  I have always held out some hope that Jaelen Phillips might flip to Stanford from UCLA (maybe the 4-8 flameout of a season helps that cause), but I have really no sense of the chances of that now.
