Could be worse.  Oregon and Maryland play at 8:36 am pacific on Saturday morning.  If I were a Stanford player, I would prefer Friday evening to early Saturday morning.

That's so lame. They better schedule games with east coast teams that tip off around 9:30 p.m. PDT/12:30 a.m. EDT in Stockton, then. Maybe I'm sensitive to this after our time-changed-induced lost at Northwestern last season, but I feel like sports schedulers are not very sensitive to the difficulties of mid-morning games for west coast teams visiting back east.

It's not much consolation, but Florida State and Oregon State will tip off at 9 pm eastern on Saturday in Stockton.
