Why do I think that 10-3 wasn't so bad? Perhaps because I lived through 0-10 in 1960 and one win in '83 and '06. I understand fans' thirst for an NC but I also know that the '59 and '62 National League pennant races were much more exciting than any World Series I covered (25) or watched on TV. What I loved about the past season was the comeback after being blown out in successive weeks, regardless of the opposition in the second half of the season. Remember the song? "Love the one you're with." That said I'm expecting an NC this year.
