I don't have an opinion about Dawkins. He seemed like a nice guy. My one general opinion is a top-flight school like Stanford should not take chances on coaches without DI head coaching experience.Â
There are so many assistant coaches really good at what they do. When you put them in the top position it sometimes doesn't work out. Give me someone with a proven track record (unless they have demonstrated management skills in an area other than coaching). I don't like the idea of taking gambles.Â
