I really wonder how many units Stanford football players really need in the spring quarter of their senior year in order graduate. I would expect about zero. There may be a very few cases where this last quarter is needed, but I expect darn few.

Depends on the major, but I'd have to agree.  One of my friends took a full load all the way through with no extras, and he only needed one lower division course to graduate.  He took "Acting for Non_Majors" and now makes his living off-Broadway.
