Incidentally, what does a high school FB need to do to get more then 3*? Pancake 3 people/play? I get the feeling we get pretty much our pick of the nations top FBs that are academically eligible, and none of them can get past the low 3* range. This is clearly a position where stars and skills don’t align.

Tom Rathman, played for the Cornhuskers, had a 6-7 foot high jump in high school, also won a low hurdles race. That oughta do it.
