Let's not forget two of our other highly ranked teams:
The #1 women's soccer team shut out Oregon 4-0 today to make it six straight shutout victories, lasting over 600 minutes. We've only lost once this year and that one to Florida early in the season. We were also playing tonight without Andi Sullivan, who is up with the national team.
The #2 ranked women's volleyball team meanwhile rallied from 2 sets to 1 down against UW to remain undefeated in Pac-12 play tonight and improved to 16-2 and 9-0 in conference. In 12 of our 16 victories, we swept the match. We seem to be transitioning well under our new coach and the losses of Inky Ajanuku and Hayley Hodson.
I know it's a long ways to postseason play, but it seems like we have two teams that can go the distance.
