WVB - impressive because of the gameness of a still-recovering Plummer in gutting out a 5-setter; she looked close to ill on TV during the fifth set, but held it together.  Big story for me last night was Alade, and the ongoing story will be can the Cardinal pass well enough.

Re:  Plummer -- Last weekend, after a monster match against UCLA, she then appeared to have a really rough time against 'SC.  And, as you note, she worked hard last night, had pretty good stats, but looked like she was still struggling a little. 

"Still-recovering"?  From what?

Re: Alade -- That quick set is money in the bank.  Foluke to Inky to Tami... kind of like Gerhart/Gaffney to MacCaffrey to Love.
