According to the depth chart, Thomas Schaffer is the backup to Dylan Jackson at DE. Has anyone seen Schaffer on the field at all this year? I don't remember even seeing him on special teams.
Also, despite a rather mediocre performance Jordan Perez is apparently the full-fledged starter over Joey Alfieri at ILB now. Alfieri has played in the last three games, so one would think that whatever ailed him has abated, but Perez remains the starter. Quite a change from last year, when Joey was All-Conference honorable mention.Â
