Not an expert in what causes someone to win or not win the H.eisman, but I have to believe that if Love kicks butt against the Washington schools and also ND, whether he plays or doesn't play against a one-win team won't affect his chances much.

The only place it may hurt is the numbers. If BL needs 2400 yards or better to win, 200 against OSU would help. OTOH, Shaw might pull him if we are up big, so that may not happen even if he plays. I am sure Shaw will decide based on what he thinks works best for the team. What that is, we shall see.
