I mean maybe you can run a screen pass.  That can work when you have an aggressive defensive line.  I also pointed out that the QB keeper on a read option probably would have worked too.

A reverse can sometimes work if the d-line is overpursuing, but that wasn’t what we had today; they were beating our guys one on one.

But beyond that you are right.  There wasn’t a ton that you could have done playcallingwise if your offensive line can’t block better.

Yep.  How many times did their 4 beat our 6? The OL was a mess.  And then there is that little thing about constantly handing the ball to 20 and asking him to go between the tackles. 

Supposedly we have the biggest and most complex playbook in college football, but we run 5 plays.  Really?
