I put myself through med school with a little savings, some merit money, and a lot of debt because my family reasonably decided they had done more then enough in paying most of my way through undergrad, for which Ill be forever grateful. Using a parents income to determine aid eligibility for a mature adult attending professional school seems silly to me.
