-Has a reasonable shot at getting an acceptable SAT/ACT score.
I think we have offered a couple of guys in the past with ACT's around 18. Thinking they are going to be able to get them up to 26 (or whatever we are requiring these days) is a bit delusional.

The father of a Director's Cup athlete told me that the coach said his child had the lowest score in the history of their program at a 28 ACT
