Is it even true that he has the most information? Sure, he knows the prognosis the doctors have given him, but does he really understand the impact on performance that an Achilles injury typically has? Is he accurately projecting his future expected abilities coming back from this? Or does he have some level of hubris in thinking that his experience will be significantly different from other athletes because he's in some ways special?

I'd love to see him prove the doubters wrong.
