Don't agree. Costello's last season could be 2018 or 2019. Mills has had a series of serious injuries, and shouldn't be counted on until he has a stretch of good health. West is still a completely unknown quantity at the college level. McKee returning from his mission and enrolling is likely but not certain. It's easy to envision a scenario in the fall of 2020 where Costello has moved on to the NFL, Mills is injured, McKee has returned from his mission but not played in two years, and West is the only scholarship quarterback. Having a talented class of 2019 redshirt freshman QB competing in the fall of 2020 seems essential.

I'm pretty sure the coaching staff would have offered a QB this cycle if at all concerned, wouldn't they? And let's not forget to add Richardson to the mix. He too may factor in to the equation here.
