This spring UCLA has 7 Top 5 teams. They are still in the hunt

In the remaining NCAA sports, here's how Stanford compares to UCLA in a few different categories (relevant not just for the Directors' Cup, but for the overall NCAA championship lead):
1. They've got an edge
* Women's gymnastics: UCLA #2; Stanford "others receiving votes"
* Softball: UCLA #3; Stanford unranked
* Beach volleyball: UCLA #2; Stanford #13
* Men's volleyball: UCLA #5; Stanford unranked
2. We're close
* Women's golf: UCLA #2; Stanford #6
* Men's tennis: UCLA #2; Stanford #4
* Women's tennis: UCLA #13; Stanford #23 (I think both teams are Top 10 caliber)
* Women's water polo: Stanford #1; UCLA #4
3. We've got an edge
* Men's gymnastics: Stanford #4 (has been as high as #1); UCLA doesn't field a team
* Baseball: Stanford #2; UCLA #18
* Men's golf: Stanford #13; UCLA #23
* Women's lacrosse: Stanford #11; UCLA doesn't field a team
* Women's rowing: Stanford #7 (tied); UCLA "others receiving votes"
* Men's outdoor T&F: Stanford #20 (#8 in region); UCLA unranked (#14 in region)
* Women's outdoor T&F: Stanford #12 (#2 in region); UCLA unranked (#6 in region)
So, perhaps on balance we might have more chances at a title or some solid points, but given how concentrated UCLA's teams are in the top 5, you have to like their chances of getting a couple more NCAA titles before the year is done.

Thanks Tree for the great signal.
Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State all added Cup points for Men's Ice Hockey. Unofficially, total Cup points are now as follow:
Stanford   977.50
Michigan   796.50
Penn State  778.75
Ohio State  739.00
NC State   683.50
Notre Dame 628.50
UCLAÂ Â Â Â Â Â 474.50
Michigan through Notre Dame are the next five schools after Stanford. I added UCLA to the tracking because of BobK's note about their expected very strong performance in remaining sports.
Geaux Cardinal!
