Spot on: Miller had a nice outing against Arizona. That's another reason, along with Miller's obvious talent and wicked late movement on his fastball, that told me that Esquer hadn't lost faith in Miller. He wants to optimize him for the regionals.
Miller has too much talent to sit. He gets steams of strike outs, which makes him attractive in short relief, especially against lefties, yet he give up very few home runs, which makes him attractive in longer relief.
