Please, let's not go down that road. Let's make every effort possible to make the Cardboard an accurate source of information and informed opinion. While I get this included "unfounded rumor," perhaps we can amend such statements to say "my opinion based on nothing.' I don't know if it's just me, but I am hypersensitive to false narratives spreading and becoming accepted truths absent any backing of facts in the last several years in the world around us. The assault on the truth infuriates every fiber of my being.
I live my life based on truth, evidence, and the scientific method, and cringe at the very notion of truth being disavowed with lies and misinformation, or false narratives being accepted as fact. So my attempt here is just to nip it in the bud so to speak on the Cardboard. Nothing personal, Papa John.
No offense taken, OusiderFan, and I'll take this opportunity to explain myself.
As recently as a couple of days ago, a Michigan blog noted that Herron Jr. might flip:

This speculation about Herron Jr is not new. Also there are no crystal ball predictions for DiCosmo to Stanford and most of them are for Michigan. So my opinions are based on something, which would be Internet rumors started by supposed experts who have speculated that what I stated will come to pass. In re-reading my original post, I can see where you would think that I was just making up things with no sources whatsoever. That was my bad, and I'll do better next time.
OK, cool... Yeah, I've been pretty dubious Michigan would end up with Herron and both Hinton brothers. Hadn't seen anything that suggested Herron could be de-committing and ending up at Stanford, but wouldn't be surprising, especially after the Devery Hamilton and Paulson Adebo flips we've seen in the last few years.
