Wow, Makenna Jones' Stanford roots run deep! Her mother Tami Whitlinger was an All American at Stanford. Her aunt Teri Whitlinger (Tami's twin) also played at Stanford. And her great-uncle John Whitlinger is the retired Stanford men's tennis coach, a former All American Stanford player and is in the Stanford Athletic Hall of Fame. I'm sorry that the Whitlinger dynasty at Stanford could not continue for another generation.
