Really nice display from Higuchi so far.  Arbuthnott struggled early (which is not unusual for her), but seems to have found her footing.  Lord started off very nicely, came back to Earth, but held when she needed to take the first set. Arbuthnott was serving for the set up 5-3, went down 0-40, but won 4 straight points to take the set.  Shin started strong, but gave a break back, but charged through the end of the first set.  Gordon was up 3-0, but Jones got it back on serve before they traded 4 breaks in a row to keep Gordon in the lead.  

But we need four points and we got four first sets, with a lead in a fifth match.  We're playing really well right now overall.
