Actual current average scores per full team (drop score included)
Front nine: +11.05
Back nine: +8.15
And the teams are bringing that back nine average down today. Meanwhile, Arizona almost single-handedly has kept te front nine side much higher.
Now we'd love to shoot for a top five finish. That would keep us from having to face Alabama or UCLA in our first match. And Northwestern isn't the ideal match up either, because they have the experience of playing in the final last year.
Barring something catastrophic among the first six, the battle looks like Kent State, Baylor, and Arizona battling for the final two spots. Baylor has to move to the front, Arizona to the back, so I'll go with Arizona but they're not easy to bet on playing this badly.
I'll feel good if Kent State makes. That means I got six of the final eight right: Alabama, UCLA, Northwestern, Duke, Stanford, and Kent State. I had Texas and Arkansas in, but not USC or Baylor.
