Arizona is a tough match up for Stanford. In fact, any opponent is tough for Stanford. Unless Liu and Wang can raise their games above where they have played this week, the only path to a victory is for Aubert, Valenzuela and Lee all to win.  A tall order.

Going by national rankings, Moore is Arizona's highest rated player at 28th nationally. Hou is 37th and Pagdanganan is 42nd.  Stoll is 109th and Nordaas is not ranked.

But don't assume that a lower ranking indicates a weaker player. Arizona beat UCLA because Stoll went out in the first match and knocked off the #2 player in the country, Lilia Vu. All of these players have been champions in junior golf. They all know how to win. 

And don't forget that Arizona was comfortably in 3rd place before their near-epic collapse in yesterday's 4th round. They are a formidable opponent. But it's the national semifinal - what else do you expect? :-)
