They probably are a tired team.   Since 6 or 7 holes into Day #1 they have played with no margin for error.   Often playing entire days knowing the best 4 scores had to hold all day to make the match play portion of the event.

If they rally up, that will be great.   However, getting to the semi-finals in this match play format should be considered a good week.

Thing is, the same applies to Arizona.  They were the last team in after a horrible, no good, forgettable fourth round.  Then, they had to come from behind to beat a tough UCLA after giving up an early lead.  I see no reason why we would be more tired than they would.

Liu, Valenzuela, or Lee will have to fight back from two or three down.  The good news is that there are still plenty of holes to play.

UofA was cruising and then had a bad day, likely a harder day than any of Stanford's rounds.
However, Stanford had no margin for error (overall score & 5th player back-up) for 4 days in a row.   That's got to be mentally draining.   And since golf is really a mental game, that 4 day grind might be too much.

FWIW - I do like the idea that they hate the front seven.  Though they will need to learn to love it overnight if they play 'Bama tomorrow.
