To get to the top 46, the Huskies will have jump ahead of all of Missouri, Illinois, Arizona, West Virginia, and South Alabama. Missouri looks the most deserving: Four more wins than the Huskies despite playing in a tougher conference, and with a pitiless record against teams ranked 101st--last: 14-1. The Huskies are an ugly 16-12 against those teams, including five losses to teams ranked outside the top 175.
I am going with Missouri, and Illinois has as good a chance as the Huskies for what would be the 65th spot.
Illinois actually beat UW 7-1 on a neutral field, so I would definitely have them ahead of UW too, with a better overall record and higher RPI too. I think given all of those bad losses in the non-conference, and the standing of the Pac-12 nationally compared to other conferences, it would be a mistake to put Washington in the field. I mean, they had their chance on their home field, with a 2-run lead in the top of the ninth, to ensure their bid and they couldn't close the deal. I know it is tough to come that close, but that is way the cookie crumbles sometimes.
