Stanford has been rated as the best overall women's program in the nation as determined by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, and the Cardinal men were ranked No. 3. Combined, there is none better than Stanford.

Taking into account NCAA team finishes in cross country, and indoor and outdoor track and field, the Stanford women received the Terry Crawford Program of the Year award. Stanford was the only school to have programs in the top three of both the men's and women's standings.
