Worse, they are boring. Right now my three favorite things on the Giants to watch are Bumgarner pitching, Crawford playing short and Hanson flying around the bases.
Slater is showing some promise. But I’d sure like to see some power. I think he can be a high OBP guy. What I don’t know is if he can hit 15 HRs or so. Without that, he’s never going to be more than a utility guy. Not in today’s game.
I still want an OF of Williamson Duggar and Slater. Sooner rather than later. Giants have to see if Williamson can play or if he’s a AAAA Guy. He should already be up.
BobK. I sure hope your guy Shaw stops hitting with a bat rubbed in that magic repellent from. “It Happens Every Spring”. Giants need the power. But the K numbers are absurd.
EDIT: Looked at River Cats site. Mac is back on DL. Not sure why. But I think that was one hell of a concussion. Frankly he was lucky he didn’t break his neck. That was a horrible crash.
