Two things.

1. The best thing this defense has going for it is that the offense should be so good that opposing offenses will become one-dimensional as they attempt to keep up. In fact, it's possible that the defense will really only need two or three stops a game. This defense won't remind us of 2012, but it won't have to.
   
2. People complain about having the Stanford-SC game so early in the season every year, but it couldn't be more well-placed for us this year. I'm sure J.T. Daniels is going to be great eventually, but I simply can't imagine that a kid who should still be in high school is going to be that effective in his second college game.
