I've been wanting to go to a Stanford Football game at Notre Dame for some time and am thinking this might be the year to go - with Bryce Love and this team.

I'm trying to figure out if it is worth renting a car or if its better to take the Anthony Travel Tailgate Train from Chicago to Notre Dame. Any advice?

Is anyone going this year?

I intend to go, but I'll be departing from Detroit.  I like taking the train, but it doesn't really work for me timing-wise.  I'll probably just rent a car, in all likelihood.  It's just a little over three hours.
