Christian's brother Dylan McCaffrey (redshirt freshman QB at Michigan) came in for a few series against Notre Dame when the starting QB Shea Patterson went down with cramps. In general, Dylan looked poised and effective, even against a pretty ferocious ND pass rush. Patterson will no doubt remain the starter, but Dylan looks like he has a shot to overtake Patterson at some point this year.

I think I read somewhere that Dylan was third string until the second stringer got hurt so wasn’t really prepared rep-wise.
