I don't think the problem is with run blocking, I think it's with Shaw's persistence in running into a stacked box time and again. He needs to either:
a) use more misdirection or spreading the field in runs
or
b) throw the ball more (and more effectively) to take advantage of the defense's positioning.
I think the meme that Shaw is stubborn is overdone but in this case it's really quite apt.
