I am also not sure why Stanford has so much trouble executing the screen. However, one screen play that they messed up in the SC game was a double screen. They faked a screen to Love on the left side and then turned and threw a screen to the right (Scarlett I think). That is a hard play to run at the best of times and takes forever. With Love as the decoy, you have to like it's chances. Didn't work this time, did not appear to fool anybody, and wasn't especially well executed.
