I kind of remember in lucks final two years a decent number of first down passes.   Anyone out there have any stats to confirm or refute this?   At any rate, this week I would not be surprised to see first down passing approaching 40%

Hard to say. Oregon has been pretty soft against the run (given their opposition hasn't been great). I don't think Shaw is going to abandon it. That said, we passed a good deal against Oregon last year, as I recall. I think we will start out simple and see what Oregon is doing. If they are crashing the LOS, we will throw the ball. If not, look for lots of Love.
