With 51 seconds left they could have taken a knee and run out the clock.  Thank you Ducks.

Not quite; we had one time out.  Oregon had first and ten with 1:35 left; with our ability to stop the clock once, Oregon had two chances to knock 40 seconds off the clock, which would have left 15 seconds in the game.  Of course, they could have then punted from the 43 and pinned us inside our 20 with 15 seconds left.
