I disagree.  If we beat Notre Dame, it would remove the feeling that winning at Oregon was a fluke.  We would have four wins against teams that between them would have one loss to a team outside of Stanford.  We might not be considered "elite", but we would be high in that category just below the elite teams.

Good possibility. I think my opinion is affected by the belief that ND doesn't have the resume to be where they are. Unfortunately, I think there are a lot of like-mined people that would de-rate beating ND, even if we were their only loss at that point. I hope we get to test the hypothesis.
