Thing is...this OL knew how to block last year, or so Bryce Love's numbers from last year seem to suggest. It's unlikely that the new coach would have erased all memory of blocking. So something else is going on as well. Even if the new coach were teaching something wrong, I bet the players would figure out really quickly on the field what does and doesn't work...and they would go to what works, i.e. last year's technique, if that difference were the case.
At this point, I'm just grateful most of them can at least pass protect. I didn't expect to see Little struggle with the speed rush, and I didn't expect the Herbig-to-RT move cause such a problem at RG that Shaw moved Herbig back and stuck dinged up AT Hall in at RT. Whoo.
