Stanford used to do this, but for some reason hasn't this year -- some reverses, jet sweeps, etc. You can use misdirection that doesn't involve passing. Maybe the problem is that a lot of the edge skill players (other than the sadly injured Wedington) aren't wriggly guys. Osiris St. Brown, maybe. Anyway, I wouldn't mind seeing some of that.
