Doubles happened hours ago, but I have no idea what happened, because neither the official site nor the team twitter accounts are saying anything. So we'll have to wait on that.
But both Arbuthnott and Lord have lost. Arbuthnott lost to Jokic 7-5, 6-2, while Lord lost a more lopsided match to Rychagova, 6-2, 6-3. I'm sure Melissa is disappointed to have lost that definitively (though losing to Rychagova is fine by itself--she's very good), but I'm glad Emily made it close. Emily isn't our #1, but she held her own against #1s from Clemson and Georgia, and that's something she can build on.
