Just to check, are you saying that the fact Speights got the start is itself an interesting commentary or are you saying that somewhere (on this board?) there is a interesting commentary about the fact that Speights started?

Yeah, I guess I should have been clearer. I meant to say that Speights' start was an interesting commentary on Scarlett, since the latter started against UCD. I am guessing that commentary is that they no longer see Scarlett as our second-best every-down back.

Probably so, which I really don't understand. As I have been saying, it seems to me that they get better results with Scarlett playing, but I can only assume there are reasons to feel otherwise. I would sure like to know more if anybody has insight.
