The above suggestions throughout this thread are great, but we haven't mentioned one factor, and that's the inexperience of our offensive coordinator at being an offensive coordinator...as well as perhaps being independent of Shaw.

Anyway, I wonder if Wedington's presence is being missed as a potential hot route guy. I'm not sure I've seen KJ check into a hot route after a blitz is detected...theoretically every WR should have some kind of hot route ready if their closest defender suddenly takes intense interest in the QB's jersey, no?
