Glad Shaw trusted Costello just enough (as it turned out) on that last Stanford drive. That doesn't excuse the earlier turtling...but we all will take the victory, won't we?

Arizona State did not look especially well coached to me. That was some poor time management at the end. OTOH, if some Wilkins passes had been on target...I don't want to think about it.

Time management was on Wilkins, rather than Herm. Don't know why a fifth year senior is dumping it off underneath with 12 seconds. Herm looked stunned on the sidelines. I actually think ASU has been better than I originally expected coming into this year. Don't think they will make a bowl, but Herm has been better than either Sumlin or Chip.
