IIRC the Pac-12's schedule is released before the NFL schedule. If that's indeed the case, then there's not much they can do about it except only play Thursday games in schools without an NFL team nearby (which isn't that restrictive, you have UA, UO, ORST, WSU, Colorado, Utah, and Cal).
