At this point Stanford throws the ball a higher percentage of the time than most teams. Total attempts are somewhat smaller as we play slowly, but not a lot. Stanford is averaging 31 attempts per game. The Pac 12 ranges from 34.6 to 28.1 - except for WSU at 53.6. Stanford ranks a little higher at completions (thus receptions) per game. [But I don't give numbers because that would require me to calculate.]

The only difference I see in distribution is that Stanford throws more to TEs, though as you noted Parkinson is largely a TE by name only. There is a big drop off in catches from #2 WR to #3 WR because of coaches' evaluation of the players, not because of type of passing game.
