Lost in this discussion--losses do that to us fans--is our defensive line's improvement over the last month.

Williams looks better by the game.  Getting a strong push.  Jackson has more good moments. 

Our last three opponents have averaged 4.59 per carry (excluding sacks as rush attempts) this season.  Against us, they averaged 4.32.  That's a yard short of dominance--~45th in the country--but it's encouraging with a DL so young.  Factor in our current sack percentage ranking--31st--and it's possible to envision a strong front seven next fall.
