Palo Alto has been in the 170s pretty consistently yesterday and today--never above 200 but never out of the unhealthy zone either. I expect it will be just like it is now at kickoff.
For those who aren't here to see it--the light outdoors feels like one of those fog induced overcast days, but it is all smoke. It isn't actually overcast at all. I've had a constant headache, a slight eye burn. We have shut the house up and are running the air through our air filter as much as possible.
I'm not excited about the idea of sitting outdoors in the stands--I guess it might be tolerable with a mask. But heavy exercise in this is a really bad idea.
It is depressing to know that a lot of that smoke is what is left of 7000 houses.
