I definitely don't want to take my toddler and have him running around in this air for at least 2 hours, so that means a family trip is out. And while the air doesn't really bother me (in terms of watery eyes or a headache or anything), I've already been working outside on chores pretty much all day (new outdoor lights, long overdue re-caulking of front brick steps, installing new drip irrigation for garden) so I'm probably well over what I should get in a day. Plus I'm really sore (see aforementioned chores) and driving to PA and back solo sounds pretty awful. I feel really bad, having a poorly attended senior day sucks for the seniors, and I generally hate missing games entirely. I'm leaning toward not going but feeling crappy about it.
Thanks for making me feel like a total underachiever. :)
I think the seniors will understand. LSJUMB son just tells me everything has been screwed up due to the weather to the point that they aren't even being given food that they should have had... Sent an APB to tailgating friends.
Edit: And now they are headed into the stadium (and hopefully given some food).
