I have been to every home game since 1982.  Many of my friends and family have stopped going for a variety of reasons.  The main reasons are late starts, ticket price increases, parking costs ($0-$10-$40 minimum in just a few years) and traffic (not just around the stadium, so Stanford has no control, but the drive has gone from 1 to 1.5 hours each direction, to 2-4 hours each direction which makes the late starts a real problem.
